Blarney Castle: Famed in song and story
We stop in the village of Blarney to give you the chance to kiss the Blarney Stone and receive the "gift of the gab" for 7 years. Situated on the battlements of the famed Blarney Castle you shall have to bend over backwards to kiss the stone! You can also visit the witches caves in the castle grounds or maybe you will indulge in the tax free shopping haven of the Blarney Wollen Mills, Ireland's biggest craft shop.
Historic Cobh is situated on the Cork Harbour. Here we hear stories of the millions of Irish people that emigrated from Cobh between 1840 and 1950. Cobh was also known as Queenstown, renamed when Queen Victoria visited. In 1912 it was the last stop of the RMS Titanic. We will see the Titanic monument in the town center and visit the impressive St Coleman's cathedral. The town also has a monument to remember the sinking of the passenger ship Lusitania, during world war 1 in 1915, which happened close to Cork harbor.
Tour finishes in Cork City Centre, you will have enjoyed a great tour with a great group of fellow international travelers. Slainte/to your health!
