FOGRA-NOTE-ACHTUNG-ATTENTION: Paddywagon Tours Ltd/ accepts no responsibility for ferries to and from the UK being cancelled or postponed due to adverse weather conditions. If the good Lord cooks up a storm and the ferry companies in their wisdom decide it is better to wait to sail the ferry rather than risk it overturning or sinking in choppy seas then we must abide by that decision even if it means you arrive in Ireland or depart/arrive from Ireland or the UK at an earlier or later time. In the unlikely event of this happening it is beyond our control and we accept no responsibility or liability for!

Day 2: Saturday 15th of April, Cork - Galway

Leaving Cork, our first stop Blarney Castle. Here we spend plenty of time visiting the Castle, and kissing the Blarney Stone endowing us with the gift of eloquent speech (gift of the gab) for 7 years. Surrounded by beautiful and majestic gardens, we may also take the time to visit the Blarney Woolen mills, the world's largest Irish shop.We then continue to the Wild Atlantic way, visiting CLIFFS OF MOHER, the most popular natural tourist destination in Ireland and most spectacular cliffs in Europe. Rising over 700 ft in height, these cliffs are home to some of natures most majestic birds including puffins, gannets and many more. Doolin, the home of Irish traditional music is our lunch stop before continuing onwards to explore the Burren, a lunar landscape dating back 300 million years with unique features like underground rivers and waterfalls. Our journey takes us along the West Coast of Clare, and Galway Bay with fabulous vistas of the Aran Islands before stopping at Corcomroe Abbey one of Ireland's finest examples of the Island of Saints and Scholars. We overnight in Galway known as the city of the tribes and Ireland's cultural capital, with a vast array of fine seafood eateries, and home to an endless selection of traditional Irish music venues. Galway was also once home of Christopher Columbus, the famous explorer.

Day 3: Sunday April 16th, Galway - Dublin

Our Morning stop today is the charming village of Cong, famed by John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara in the film Quiet Man. The village is home to Ashford castle, a regular haunt of the rich and famous and a wedding venue for a host of international stars. We have time to visit Cong Abbey before heading off on our short journey through the midlands back to Dublin inspired by a wonderful 6 day experience around Southern Ireland. After lunch we take a leisurely drive through midlands of Ireland's finest agricultural land with its rolling fields and pastures fresh, as we make our way to Dublin for our grand finale - the Guinness Storehouse and complements of the Paddywagon team. There will be much time to enjoy the Guinness Brewery and even enjoy a complimentary pint in the atrium bar, with its 360 degree view of Dublin's Fair City, followed by a free evening to enjoy the delights of our capital's nightlife, from fantastic pub grub to fine dining, traditional music and maybe even a club or too.
