Thanks to everyone that joined us for our St Patricks’s Festival 2014! It was our greatest year so far. Our groups visited Glendalough and the Guinness Storehouse on the day before the festival, and got VIP access skipping the crazy queues on their busiest day in history! A weekend of Sightseeing, Guinness and one of the biggest parades in the world! The world famous Paddywagon St Patrick’s Festival!
Our tour groups toured the country before and after the festival, and we even crossed the Irish Sea to collect many of our passengers from London! Other groups came to ireland in boring white coaches, but groups proudly arrived in the perfect St Patrick’s style – on board the world famous green Paddywagon coaches!
The City of Dublin turned green! Buildings were illuminated with green lighting , and everybody in the city was dressed in their finest green shirts! Most of our group members were wearing their latest edition of the Paddywagon T-Shirt, one of the most coveted items in the history of travel!
Above you can see some of group members at O’Connell bridge prior to the parade! Some looking tired after a night of pre-parade partying! We are proud that all our tours are led by our own experienced guides, who unlike many respected rivals are all proudly Irish and want to ensure all our visitors have an amazing experience! Some even have a special wardrobe! Here are Gavin, Don and Mike with special matching haircuts for St Patrick’s Festival!
After the parade it was time for the party at a secret location! There is no better feeling than dancing the night away on the banks of the river Liffey, with Irish music galore and much much more! Here are our some of our guides and passengers making the most of the celebrations! (you might even spot one or two of the bosses around on an occasion like this – shhhh!)
We cant wait until next year to be honest! We are going to add even more fun activities to make our tours the best way to spend St Patrick’s day in Ireland! Some of our lucky groups are still touring Ireland after the festival! Remember as well as our award winning tours around Ireland, we also offer Day tours from Dublin, Cork and limerick to some of the greatest attractions in Ireland such as the Cliffs of Moher Day Tour and the Giant’s Causeway day tour! So if you are still in Ireland why not join us for a Day Tour!
To all those who joined us this year thanks very much! Send us your photos on Facebook and thanks to the passengers and drivers who sent in photos already! Its never too early to think of next year! Here are Freddie and Gabriel deep in conversation this evening making plans for next years festival already!! Now that’s commitment!
Slainte! Good health to you! From all the staff of Paddywagon Tours!!
