No trip to England is complete without a day tour to Bath, Stonehenge and the beautiful countryside! Our Day Tour departs from London at 8am, and to avoid delays in London traffic we do not pick-up at hotels all over London which can take hours! We have three easy pick-up stops in Paddington, Victoria and Gloucester Road Station (Kensington area) all at the heart of London. If you are not staying near a pick-up stop, simply take the London Underground to meet us at Gloucester Road station!
We enjoy typical English countryside as we make our way to Stonehenge. We INCLUDE ADMISSION to the world's most famous stone circle at Stonehenge. SAVE £16! You will have approximately 1.5 hours at the site in order to have a relaxed visit to enjoy the mighty stone circle and also have some time to enjoy the exhibition and have refreshments. We will continue to drive via beautiful countryside and charming villages to the Georgian City of Bath. We will provide an orientation tour of the city, and you will have about 3 hours to explore the city and visit places of interest to you.

8am sharp departure. We meet opposite the entrance to Gloucester Road Station. We do not do hotel pick-up routes, as in a huge city like London this can mean an extra two hours travelling around a congested city in a coach, and then changing coaches at a congested interchange point - which is not fun. We offer pick-up stops at PADDINGTON, VICTORIA and GLOUCESTER ROAD (Kensington area). Our direct departure avoids traffic and allows a quick departure and more time for sightseeing. For more departure information visit our dedicated site www.daytourslondon.com ON AND GONE!
We include your admission to this world famous prehistoric site. (save £15) You will also have access included to the informative and fun exhibition in the new visitor complex. You will have at least 1.5 hours at Stonehenge to allow time for your to visit the Stones, tour the exhibition and have a snack! Marvel at this wonder of ancient achievement and explore the mystery of why this stone circle was constructed over 4000 years ago. All our groups are confirmed in advance, so please be assured you will have priority group admission!
We travel through beautiful countryside and charming villages and your guide will inspire you with stories from the area and some general information on English life. We cross the Salisbury Plain which has been designated as a Special Area of Conservation. You will enjoy lots of nice views of typical English countryside, creating memories to last a lifetime. An essential part of our Stonehenge day tour from London!
As we approach Bath your guide will give you information on the city and its history. We will take a short orientation driving tour to show you some of the highlights of the city. You will be amazed by its Georgian architecture. Unmissable are the Royal Crescent, Pultney Bridge and the River Avon . We will drop you near the impressive Bath Abbey for at least 2.5 hours free time in the city. You can enjoy many options for food and drink, and your guide will suggest some options for all budgets. During your free-time you can explore more of the city, and our guide will be on hand to direct you. Consider a visit to the Roman Baths Exhibition, Bath Abbey or Jane Austen Museum, depending on what your interests are. Or try some local ciders in one of the traditional pubs of Bath, or enjoy shopping in the fashionable shopping district. Our guide will be on hand to answer questions, direct you and ensure you make the most of your visit to bath.
We join the coach and travel back towards London, with a chance to relax on the way after a great trip. As we approach London, or guide will be happy to recommend places to eat and drink near our drop off point at Gloucester Road, as well as give you general advice on your stay in London. We aim to arrive back by 6.30pm approx. This allows those short on time in London to go straight to a show as it is only 20 minutes from Gloucester Road to the West End by London underground! Or if you want to continue sightseeing we recommend the "See London by Night" tour later in the evening.
