Blarney Castle and Woollen Mills
The adventure begins on MacCurtain Street, departing via the R854 and N20 toward the rolling hills of the north. Transitioning onto the R617, the landscape opens into the scenic approaches of Blarney. The primary destination is Blarney castle and adjacent Woollen Mills, a cathedral of Irish craft and history.
Blarney Castle is probably the most iconic fortress in all Ireland and all those who climb to the top will be rewarded with amazing views of emerald countryside and The Gift of the Gab if they kiss the legendary Blarney Stone!
After soaking in the village atmosphere, the route retraces its steps back along the R617 and N20, sweeping back through the R854 to return briefly to the city’s heart before embarking on the eastern leg.
The tour arrives here (Blarney Woollen Mills Car Park) at 09:45, 11:45, 13:59, 15:59 and 18:05. The tour departs here at 10:10, 12:10, 14:10, 16:10, 18:10.

Cobh (Titanic Experience)
The Maritime Hub: Toward the Titanic’s Shore
Leaving the city via the N8 and the N25 motorway, the journey takes a dramatic turn south along the R624, crossing the Belvelly Bridge to Great Island. The road leads directly into the historic heart of Cobh, arriving at Casement Square. Here, at the Titanic Experience, travelers stand at the very edge of the Atlantic's history, overlooking the waters where the great liner made its final call.
Cobh is also fascinating to explore on foot with amazing local architecture, St. Colman's towering cathedral, some of the world's largest cruise ships at anchor and some very cool pubs and restaurants.

Fota Wildlife Park

The return leg winds back along the R624 for a stop at Fota Wildlife Park, a portal to Ireland’s premier open-air conservation experience.

Jameson Midleton Distillery
Continuing back onto the N25, the route pushes further east to Midleton. Taking the R630, the journey arrives at the Jameson Experience, where the massive copper stills of the distillery represent the pinnacle of Irish whiskey tradition.
Enjoy a tour, perhaps a tasting and browse the awesome souvenir and distillery store.

Return to Cork
The circuit completes its grand loop with a final run along the N25 and N8, delivering passengers back to the bustling, cosmopolitan energy of MacCurtain Street.
