Paddywagon Tours is Ireland’s leading tour company. We’re now expanding our IT Team and looking to hire a PHP Developer to join our team in Dublin.

Role Description

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of the websites & databases.
• Ensuring project requirements are coded, tested and delivered to the highest standards.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Configure and manage AWS EC2 instances to ensure high availability and scalability of the web applications.
• Troubleshoot and investigate issues.
• Contribute to the ongoing support of developed products.
• Working closely with your colleagues and team to provide the best possible overall outcome.
• Actively involved in the planning, scheduling and tracking of projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experience with JQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX.
• Experience with the LAMP Stack.
• Experience with Linux Ubuntu.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, Amazon SES, CloudWatch, CloudTrail…).
• Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail.
• You must be an excellent communicator and enjoy working in a small development team.

Desirable Knowledge & Experience

• Understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Version control with GIT.
• Experience with CodeIgniter an advantage.
• Experience with Python an advantage.
• Knowledge of eCommerce an advantage.
