  • Depart Belfast

We depart from Belfast City Center, from the bus shelter in front of the famous Europa Hotel, on Great Victoria street (see departure time on booking calendar above).

Begin the journey in the company of your expert local guide and your fellow travel partners as you relax back into our premium leather seats and look forward to a day of exploration, nature and joy.

Your charming guide will set the scene as he or she navigates through the atmospheric Victorian streets of Belfast through the rolling farmland of county Antrim to the North Coast of Ireland - an area of outstanding natural beauty.

  • Causeway Coast Road Trip

An absolute highlight for many guests today is the Causeway Coastal Route road trip which promises fine views of Rathlin Island, and on a clear day the Scottish coast across the sea. The views along this world famous coastline are spectacular, no wonder it is one of the most visited destinations in Europe!

  • Dark Hedges

We visit the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges. The trees were planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family to impress their guests upon arrival to their house. Most of you will recognize the Dark Hedges as King's Road from the hit TV series Game of Thrones. It is a wonderful photo-stop and an opportunity to be a part of a real life set!

  • Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (photo stop)

Next stop is Ireland's only rope bridge. Fishermen erected this bridge to Carrick-a-Rede islandat just over 20 metres in length. It was used for centuries to harvest salmon from the nets below. From here we have views of Mull of Kintyre in Scotland and Rathlin Island.

*Unfortunately, the local government who administer the rope bridge have decided not to accept groups from May 2022 due to capacity issues. Accordingly, we'll stop for some amazing photos and and enjoy extra time at Dunluce Castle.

  • Giants Causeway (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

The Giant's Causeway is the highlight of this trip for most! Built by the Irish giant Fionn and his Scottish rival Angus, it is a real masterpiece formed of perfectly shaped hexagonal columns. Your tour guide shall tell you all about the Causeway, and the legends. The path to the causeway stones starts behind the center, it is only 10 mins walk! For a small fare there is a mobility bus that can bring you all the way down the path to the Causeway, for those with walking difficulties.

  • Dunluce Castle (House of Greyjoy)

Next stop is the House of Greyjoy from HBOs Game of Thrones. In real life, Dunluce Castle was built by the McQuillan family around 1500.

One of Northern Ireland's premier castles, it is located atop sheer cliffs overlooking the Atlantic ocean – the perfect setting for one of the Great Houses of Westeros. The Castle’s dramatic history of violence, intrigue and rebellion is matched by the scandal and betrayal committed by the Greyjoys in Game of Thrones.

***From 1st April with longer daylight hours this will change from a photo stop to a comprehensive visit (approximately 45 minutes) with paid entrance included. Pricing will increase as a result. You can lock your price in now and and remember you enjoy a free cancellation option up to 24 hours prior to departure - pre book with confidence***

  • Arrive back in Belfast

Arrive back in downtown Belfast around 16:00 after enjoying one of Northern Ireland's epic experiences. Your Paddywagon driver will drop the group off right in the center of the city to allow maximum access to transport routes and evening entertainment options.

Why not pop into the Crown Liquor Saloon to raise a pint of Guinness to the memories you made today with loved ones and new friends? The Crown also offers an amazing food menu for those hungry after a day out in the fresh air (bar snacks, oysters, starters, mains, burgers, sandwiches, desserts and an amazing Northern Irish Whiskey Sauce!)

    Cheers!
