With everyone on board at 08:30, the day begins with a two hour drive from Dublin to Belfast. Sit back and watch Dublin city fade into the background as we enter the green Irish countryside and receive a primer to the history and culture of Northern Ireland from your guide.
Half way to Belfast we'll leave the highway and make a short pit stop at the haunting ruins of Monasterboice. See an amazing 10th century stone round tower in pristine condition and learn how our ancestors sought refuge there from vicious Viking raids in the area. Touch the most beautiful hand carved stone Celtic crosses in Ireland, standing tall over the Irish countryside for over 1,000 years.
Titanic Belfast extends over nine interactive galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features. Explore the shipyard, travel to the depths of the ocean and uncover the true legend of Titanic, in the city and dockside where it all began.
Enjoy approximately 120 minutes to explore the exhibition at leisure. Your Skip The Line Entrance Fee (GBP 19.00) is included as standard in the cost of your ticket.
Arrive in Belfast where you'll enjoy approximately two hours at leisure for lunch and shopping in Belfast's bustling downtown shopping area.
Why not visit the historic Crown Liquor Saloon for a glass of Bushmills Whiskey or check out Belfast's own leaning tower, the “Albert Clock”?

Perhaps consider using part of your leisure time to enjoy an optional Black Taxi tour of the Falls and Shankill Roads along with the infamous political murals and the "Peace Lines" (walls) separating Irish Nationalist and British Loyalist neighbourhoods. Highly recommended by Lonely Planet and all the leading guidebooks.
Many of the local Black Taxi driver- guides lived through the worst of the 1968 - 1998 conflict now known as the Troubles. They will recount incredible stories of urban warfare and tragedy and help you to understand what drove the conflict from the multiple perspectives involved.
Thankfully, a constitutional settlement was negotiated in 1998 which brought and end to the decades of civil war. Belfast is now statistically safer than the majority of European and North- American cities. So, you can relax and tour this fascinating city with peace of mind!
The Black Taxi fare is GBP 12.50 per person (approx. EUR 15.00) and will be arranged for those interested by your guide on the day.
We'll regroup around 16:00 and head back towards Dublin. After crossing the border we'll return through the rolling countryside of County Louth. We'll make a comfort stop en-route if required and drop you off in Dublin at approximately 18:30.
This tour is exclusively in English.
You will receive your ticket (featuring your booking number) via email immediately at time of booking. There is no need to print the ticket. If you wish, you can simply show it on your phone or tablet.
